Testimonials
After getting some explanations and understanding what that meant, we did an evaluation session. Based on these results, we agreed on 10 sessions first, each of 20 minutes.
I saw the impact quite quickly after starting. I was calmer, had less thoughts coming to my mind and was able to feel more at peace. It sounded too good to be true but I saw the effects lasting.
Part of the process, I had an assessment session with a complete report to see the change in me. I was working my addiction recovery program at the same time and all combined, I felt I made a lot of progress on many areas: capacity to listen, empathy, being calm.
After the 10 sessions, we did another 10 sessions and even if I didn't notice new evident effects, I could see how it helped me find serenity and peace. The assessment report showed all these changes.
From a practical point of view, I needed 2 sessions a week for 5 weeks. As the session is quick (5 to 10 minutes of setup and 20 minutes of neuro feedback), it was simple to organize with the Counselling Perspective team near my work to suit my work schedule. I really recommend discussing neuro feedback with your therapist and considering it.”
I read that Neurofeedback sessions have demonstrated considerable efficacy in enhancing mental wellness and cognitive capabilities. By monitoring and training brainwave activity, neurofeedback equips individuals to comprehend and modulate their brain patterns.
These sessions are non-invasive and customized, assisting individuals in managing symptoms related to stress, ADHD, and sleep disorders, among other conditions, which I was experiencing.
I enrolled in a series of 10 sessions with the their neuro technician and gradually observed an increase in my calmness and focus, all without the use of medication.
The technician was able to show me the improvement in the raw data we could observe in real time feedback.
I was impressed with this approach as it supports the brain's inherent capacity for self-regulation.
For those aiming to optimize mental health or improve cognitive function, I strongly advocate for considering neurofeedback as a valuable option.
